Arrival & Departure

Dropping Off & Picking Up by Car at Camp

  • Camp’s address is 822 Peru Road, Hinsdale MA 01235. Our driveway’s on a bit of a curve, so please drive slowly and look for our “Welcome” flag.

  • Drop-Off: Drop-off window is 2:30-3:30pm on Sunday. Once you arrive, you’ll park, sign your camper in, and walk them to their bunk to meet their counselors. After that, it’s time for goodbyes. Keeping this process short really helps everyone settle in more easily. We promise it makes a big difference!

  • Pick-Up: The pick-up window is 10:30-11:30am on your designated date (see below). For everyone’s safety, we’ll release your camper only to an adult listed on your authorized pick-up list. Please make sure whoever comes to pick them up has a valid ID ready to show our staff. We invite you to take a walk around the property and chat with your camper’s counselors and program directors before you head out. They’ll be happy to share stories and insights about your camper’s experience!

Baggage

Getting Baggage to Camp: Baggage can be transported to camp by dropping it off/picking it up at camp when you drop off/pick up your camper, or it can be transported in advance utilizing our partner shipping service. Anyone can elect to use our shipping service, regardless of how your camper travels to camp.

Shipping Is Required for Bus Transportation: To ensure our campers have a comfortable ride and to allow for streamlined check-in once the vehicle arrives at camp, all families using camp transportation are required to ship their camper’s luggage ahead of time. Our vehicles are chosen for rider comfort and safety, and unfortunately do not have cargo capacity for the large duffels that packing for camp requires. Shipping ahead also ensures your camper’s gear is already waiting in their bunk when they arrive, allowing them to get right onto the fun!

Day of heading to camp, campers can bring a backpack on the bus with their travel essentials, like water bottle, sweatshirt, and entertainment for the ride, such as a book or music player.

We truly appreciate your cooperation and understanding of this logistical requirement. We know that packing and shipping ahead takes extra planning and time, and adds to the list of camp preparation. And, it is the key to a smooth, stress-free arrival day for your camper. Thank you for help in ensuring the start of their time at camp is as seamless as possible!
